Gatekeepers Training (GKT) is one of the most widely used and disseminated programs worldwide to train personnel in suicide prevention. The purpose of the program is to acquire the necessary skills and competencies to detect psychoemotional and mental health problems that could lead to self-destructive behaviors. In this research work, the level of risk related to suicide was evaluated by means of the ISO-30 psychometric test in high school students, then the effectiveness of a gatekeeper training program applied in the Tepatitlan Regional Preparatory School (TRPS) andsome of its modules was evaluated. The results of the ISO-30 psychometry showed that 64.5% of the students evaluated have a high-riskfactor for suicide related to the inability to cope with emotions. In addition to the above, a statistically significant difference was found (Mann-Whitney U Statistics = 4322.000; p0.001) in the level of competence of the participants in relation to a pre-training evaluation.It is important to note that the effect of the difference found is strong (Rosenthal’sr=0.67) so it is concluded that the GKT drastically improved the skills and competencies of the participants.

La investigación, tiene como propósito analizar ejes requeridos en el plan de formación de jóvenes estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias empresariales de la universidad Francisco de Paula Santander, de acuerdo a su perfil, percepciones y necesidades; para este estudio se realizó una encuesta basado en una muestra probabilística a los estudiantes activos, a su vez, permitió recopilar información sobre la longevidad del estudiante, la necesidades, la manera de seleccionar la universidad y las expectativas observadas a su ingreso. Resultado: población académica de estrato uno a cuatro, la edad de ingreso evidencia una población adulto-joven, para solventar la matrícula trabajan y deben acudir a entidades externas como el crédito bancario (84,1 %), necesidades giran en torno ejes innovación en calidad educativa, emprendimiento, tic.

El cambiante escenario pedagógico y didáctico del aula de clase genera una permanente inquietud en todos los ámbitos educativos, en donde la enseñanza de las ciencias ha sido un área de creciente interés. Investigaciones recientes priorizan la búsqueda de estrategias que cierren la brecha existente entre la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, la cual se profundiza en una diversa comunidad estudiantil que acompaña sus procesos con el desconocimiento pedagógico de la planta docente, cuyas alternativas didácticas para lograr una formación competente están sustentadas en un pensamiento transmisionista – conductista. Este artículo presenta una alternativa pedagógica de aprendizaje basada en la teoría experiencial de Kolb, aplicada al concepto de onda armónica en la propagación de ondas electromagnéticas. La metodología comprende la formulación de la hipótesis de trabajo desde la teoría del aprendizaje experimental, la definición del contexto sustentado en el enfoque cuantitativo y basado en los estilos de aprendizaje de Kolb, la generación de la estrategia pedagógica siguiendo el modelo CUVIMA, la aplicación de esta en un solo grupo con pretest y postest para conocer las ideas previas y el cambio conceptual y, el análisis de resultados utilizando estadísticos gráficos y la media. Como resultado se identificó que los estudiantes tienen un estilo de aprendizaje Convergente – Asimilador según los estilos de aprendizaje de Kolb, lo cual implica que tienen preferencias hacia las prácticas de laboratorio y de simulación en donde pueden poner a prueba los conceptos teóricos aprendidos. De acuerdo con el análisis de los datos se concluye que la experimentación mejora la comprensión del fenómeno físico estudiado, lo cual está acorde con el estilo de aprendizaje identificado en los estudiante

El aprendizaje de la física supone arduos esfuerzos cuyos resultados con frecuencia se muestran en paradójica desproporción lo cual conlleva a generar estrategia para valorar el nivel de estrés entre los estudiantes puesto que esto a su vez, permite establecer acciones pedagógicas y didácticas para la enseñanza de la física y para potenciar el pensamiento físico Objetivo: establecer la validez y fiabilidad de una escala para evaluar el estrés en estudiantes de cursos de física de instituciones educativas de educación superior del municipio de Cúcuta en tiempos de covid-19. Materiales y Métodos: Estudio descriptivo de corte transversal, diseño instrumental; evidencia de validez de constructo se evaluó a través de análisis factorial confirmatorio, correlación y comparación; la consistencia interna se estimó mediante el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach. La muestra estuvo constituida por 1200 participantes seleccionados de la población de estudiantes de instituciones educativas públicas y privadas del municipio de Cúcuta, Colombia, de diferentes programas académicos que tienen matriculado cursos de física. Resultados: se conforma una escala con 20 ítems y 3 factores: ansiedad, presión institucional, afrontamiento y se evalúa su fiabilidad y validez para el diagnóstico de estrés en estudiantes de cursos de física. Conclusión: la escala para evaluar el estrés en estudiantes es válida y fiable.

However, time series of geophysical data in many cases present missing data and their estimation requires the application of valid methods that allow estimating reliable information to complete the series since some analysis methods require these series to be complete. Two methods are used in this article to estimate the missing values of the precipitation series in the city of San José de Cúcuta, Colombia, the first one consists of considering the univariate data series and applying an adjustment of the sequential conditional expectation method of forecasting with restrictions, the second one refers to analyze the data series of a nearby station and through multivariate methods establish the cointegration between the series, and then use this as a basis for estimating the missing data in the analysis series. The two methods are recursive, a first estimation of the model is made ignoring the missing data, an initial estimation of the missing data is made, then a new estimation of the model parameters and a new estimation of the missing data is made, the algorithm continues running with the new values replacing the values estimated in the previous phase until the difference of the estimated values between successive iterations is less than a value fixed beforehand. Finally, a comparison is made between the estimates made by the two methods.

This research article shows a broad analysis of the situation of migrants in the city of Cúcuta - Norte de Santander (Colombia) and the representations that the receiving citizens have in this border context. The methodological approach of this study was framed from the qualitative-hermeneutic paradigm where the life story was used as a basis for collecting information. The results of the research show that the discourses of the subjects under study legitimise violent actions towards the Venezuelan migrant population. Furthermore, it shows that in the border municipalities, residents naturalise the current situation, to the extent that it seems that the events that occur in this border context are isolated from the reality of those who do not migrate, describing them as "something normal".

To address subjective aspects about before, during and afterthe practice, a non-participant observation guide and a student questionnaire were used as instruments. The results allowed recovering the contributions in two constructs: the theoretical meaning and the formative meaning. Here we present the analysis of the formative meaning that contemplates the subcategories of New Forms of Pedagogical Relationship (NFRP) articulated to critical dialogicity and Collaborative Work (CT) and derived from it, the importance of enhancing the formative nature of research.

Education must form thinking people, who develop all their potentialities, among them, those referring to mathematical logical intelligence. The objective is to elaborate a didactic proposal that fosters mathematical logical intelligence in students. For this, the research was framed in a quantitative approach with fieldwork design and at a descriptive level. The survey was applied as a technique and as instruments a questionnaire for teachers and a test for students. The population was made up of all teachers and students in basic primary education. An intentional non-probability sample was applied, made up of 22 teachers who attend primary school programs and 30 students of the same educational level. The results identify the lack of strategies related to the processes of classification, serialization, and number of primary school teachers during their pedagogical work. Next, we describe the shortcomings that students have in applying mathematical logic processes in a series of activities proposed in the evaluative test. Finally, didactic strategies are defined according to the conditions of the learning environment analyzed so that from the work of the classroom it is possible to promote logical mathematical intelligence, since cognitive stimulation in the student by means of learning experiences according to the level of development allows to reach levels of thought of greater complexity.

La investigación pretende generar algunos fundamentos epistemológicos como base para la construcción teórica de un modelo psico-pedagógico en educación sexual dirigido a los adolescentes. Se realizó bajo el paradigma cualitativo enmarcada en los métodos fenomenológicos - hermenéuticos apoyado en el estudio de casos; es significativo señalar que en primer lugar se efectuó un estudio piloto de corte cuantitativo; el cual permitió evidenciar las categorías a tratar en la parte del análisis de información. Las categorías como abuso sexual, consumo de sustancias psicoactivas, embarazo a temprana edad, enfermedades de transmisión sexual, pornografía, cibersexo y sexting, dejan entrever que es pertinente implementar los fundamentos epistemológicos para la enseñanza de la educación sexual en las instituciones lo que conlleva a que la sociedad alcance un bienestar social acorde con las exigencias mínimas que garanticen la subsistencia del hombre.

Las prácticas organizacionales hacen referencia a aspectos físicos, normativos, estructurales y sociales que las empresas utilizan con el fin de mejorar el compromiso del personal y a través de esta vía encontrar ventajas competitivas para la compañía. En instituciones de salud, los trabajadores desarrollan actividades que general un alto grado de estrés y agotamiento que incide en la eficiencia labora y por ende organizacional, por lo que se requiere políticas de prácticas saludables. El objetivo general de la investigación es identificar factores determinantes de la calidad de las prácticas saludables en clínicas y hospitales ubicados en la frontera colombo- venezolana Norte de Santander (Colombia) y Táchira (Venezuela). La investigación se enmarca en un enfoque multimétodo que implica dos fases, una primera realizada con personal de las instituciones prestadoras de servicios de salud de la frontera que conlleva a la caracterización de estas instituciones e identificación de variables relevantes, desarrollado desde el paradigma cuantitativo, con aplicación del análisis factorial exploratorio y confirmatorio y del contraste de resultados, obteniendo que las variables estrategia organizacional, prácticas saludables y stakeholders son factores determinantes de la calidad de las prácticas saludables. En una segunda fase se trabaja con información primaria y secundaria de clínicas y hospitales, enmarcado en un paradigma mixto, con un propósito confirmatorio de la relevancia de las variables explicatorias identificadas con respecto a la explicada, lo que conlleva a concluir que, tanto las componentes de cada factor como los tres factores identificados, son determinantes en la valoración de la calidad de las prácticas saludables.

This text addresses the phenomenon of migration of the Venezuelan population to Colombia from the narratives of inhabitants of the border area of the Corregimiento de la Parada, located in the city of Cúcuta. Through these narratives the researchers show the atavistic imaginaries about the Venezuelan migrant through fivecategories: "the borders", "friend/enemy", "good/bad", "scapegoat", "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth". An interpretative methodology is used, taking symbolic interactionism as a reference, insofar as it allows us to understand the process of creation and assignment of meanings by the residents of this area. The results show violence as a method to justify xenophobic attitudes against Venezuelan migrants.

Objetivo: Determinar si los movimientos sacádicos influyen en el rendimiento académico de estudiantes de básica primaria. Metodología: Se tomó una muestra no probabilística por conveniencia de 121 estudiantes de básica primaria con situación de vulnerabilidad en una Institución Educativa de la ciudad de Cúcuta, Colombia. La muestra se dividió en dos grupos: el primero, de alto rendimiento académico, conformado por 56 estudiantes, 60 % niñas y 40 % niños, con una media de 11,70 años; el segundo, de bajo rendimiento, constituido por 65 estudiantes, 40 % niñas y 60 % niños, con una media de 12,29 años. A ambos grupos se aplicó el test de King y Devick (1976) o test K-D de movimientos sacádicos. Resultados: Los resultados mostraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre las medias de los tiempos de lectura de cada una de las tarjetas como en la media del tiempo total de lectura de las tres tarjetas del test K-D. También se encontraron diferencias significativas en el porcentaje de estudiantes que presentan problemas en relación con los movimientos sacádicos: en el grupo con alto rendimiento el porcentaje de estudiantes con problemas relacionados con movimientos oculares en función del tiempo es mucho menor que en el grupo con bajo rendimiento académico. The teaching of physics should be supported by practical or laboratory activities that seek to develop the scientific competencies of the students who study physics, so it is necessary to propose innovative strategies, such as research-based learning, in which students answer research questions through the analysis of data, which increases the interaction between the student and the physical concepts under investigation. Therefore, the objective of the study was to analyze the beliefs of teachers in natural science training at a public university in Colombia who take the subject of physics on research-based learning, to provide information on how to guide the use of innovative strategies. The study responds to a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach and was based on a field design. On the other hand, the results reflect slightly positive beliefs of students in initial teacher training who study physics about researchbased learning as an innovative strategy, although it is recommended to expand the sample to generalize. Finally, the analysis reveals as a conclusion that the implementation of innovative methodologies such as inquiry-based learning for science teaching, especially physics, should be promoted and supported more effectively to foster motivation, skills development, and conceptual understanding. of the scientific contents.

El artículo tiene como objetivo asociar la investigación intervención y el mentoring implementada en ciencias humanas en la educación matemática, así mismo analiza el multimétodo como enfoque de investigación en educación matemática. La investigación implementa microproyectos y mentoring, la información se analiza a través de triangulación de métodos de análisis factorial e investigación intervención. Resultados: cognición social, interacción empática, adicciones, apoyo padres son factores asociados a pensamiento matemático, intervención a través de apoyo psicopedagógico mejoró desarrollo del pensamiento. Conclusión: La investigación intervención como método dentro del enfoque multimétodo presenta una alternativa de acercamiento a la comprensión de las situación educativa y de los diferentes factores asociados para desde allí formular propuestas que permitan al estudiante alcanzar un nivel competente en el aprendizaje, comprensión y aplicación de las matemáticas que responda positivamente a su actuar en su mundo natural.

The work developed is action research type, framed in the qualitative paradigm. It designs a didactic strategy for the development of a different pedagogical practice to the traditional one that allows a greater autonomy in the student during the learning process, since the apprehension of knowledge is done in a more personal and practical way. The didactic proposal is developed from the diagnosis of the student's creativity and their ability to interact with academic platforms. Its implementation allows the student to learn by doing in a process of trial, error and correction in order to promote creative thinking while achieving meaningful learning.

La investigación sobre liderazgo escolar en el contexto de la acreditación de la educación superior en el Caribe demanda del fortalecimiento del liderazgo pedagógico de los rectores de estas instituciones, para lo cual es importante el aporte de esta investigación que analiza las prácticas eficaces que han contribuido a la mejora de la calidad educativa, desde las percepciones de distintos actores, mediante un método de estudio de casos múltiples con enfoque cualitativo e interpretativo, que implicó la mirada a cuatro instituciones y un análisis en tres niveles de complejidad hasta llegar al cruce de casos. Los principales resultados indicaron que, las acciones y elementos relacionados con habilidades personales, competencias profesionales y formación pedagógica que poseen los directores, facilitan la configuración de prácticas de liderazgo eficaz. Paralelamente, son transversalizadas por el ser ético del líder en su condición humana, dándole al liderazgo un carácter moral con sentido social. Para potencializar en los líderes prácticas eficaces de liderazgo con el propósito de mejorar la calidad de la educación y la acreditación universitaria, es fundamental establecer políticas públicas contundentes que reivindique el rol actual de los rectores y garanticen su aplicabilidad desde lo institucional para poder lograr transformaciones de alto nivel.

Mathematical economics in the explanation of economic growth in economies with endogenous and exogenous technological change

Economic growth is a function of the interactions between the different productive factors framed in the economic policy of an economy, in particular, it can be expressed in terms of labour force, productive resources (land, capital) and technology, among others. The present work pretends to approximate a model to explain the economic growth in developing economies, for which a model is proposed that explains this growth in function of the referred factors; then production is proposed in function of capital and work and two models are adjusted, one with exogenous technological change and the other that involves technological change in an endogenous manner. The model is developed with a production function with constant substitution elasticity so that it is applicable to both developed and developing economies, since it is to be expected that in developed economies the substitution elasticity is unitary, which would lead to a Cobb-Douglas-type production function, but it is very probable that in incipient economies the function with constant substitution elasticity better reflects the relationship between production factors and economic growth. The research allows the development of the corresponding mathematical model in each case, the economic and mathematical foundations of each model are presented and validated according to economic theories. The behaviour of variables such as savings, investment, income, consumption, capital and their relationships in each model is analysed.

This research reports the effects derived from the application of mathematical modelling in classroom work within the development of mathematics classes, which allowed the resignification of the concept of linear function, making use of various semiotic registers of representation applied to a wide range of everyday situations. The fieldwork was based on the application of a didactic sequence to two groups of ninth grade students from a public educational institution located in the capital city of northeastern Colombia. The students were expected to build a mathematical model that would fit the data provided framed in the situations in context in order to contribute to the re-signification of mathematical knowledge. The results show that the practice of modelling favours the motivation of students in relation to mathematical knowledge, giving it meaning and significance when confronted with real situations.
