The objective of this work is to design a structural model that identifies explanatory variables of leadership and entrepreneurship in the Yukpa community. The research follows an ethnographic method and mixed approach: qualitative using elements of factorial and correlational design, based on structural equation modeling (SEM) and quantitative in that instruments such as interview, observation and survey are implemented in a sample of 174 members of the Yukpa community in the municipality of Cúcuta-Colombia. The results allow identifying emerging categories in Yukpa women such as discipline, compassion, solidarity, example, for leadership and participative planning, context, production, organization, marketing, training in entrepreneurship; likewise, solidarity, use of ancestral practices, economic social factors, product, affect consumer behavior. It is concluded that from the logarithmic logit model with base two, the representation in entrepreneurship influenced by the behavior of the leader of the community and the consumer of products in the Yukpa tribe's offer is identified.

The Force Concepts Inventory is a test to determine the level of conceptual knowledge of students about mechanical physics and to evaluate the effectiveness of different teaching strategies on the conceptual component of learning. The test is applied with the purpose of knowing the level of conceptualization of the students of a Physics subject course. The results of the pre-test made it possible to find out the level of conceptualization that the students possessed and provided information for the development of workshops based on real physical situations that required the elaboration of force diagrams. The results of the post-test allowed estimating Hake's learning and showed evidence about the conceptual evolution of the students and information to develop future teaching activities on Newton's laws.

Pedagogical practice allows teachers to focus their attention on three types of knowledge: disciplinary knowledge: what do I know, pedagogical knowledge: how do I communicate what I know, and academic knowledge: how do I transform myself with what I know? Thus, the teacher has the capacity to transform not only his or her students, but to transform himself or herself in the process. In this sense, the research aims to characterize the pedagogical practice of physics teachers in educational institutions located in the “Catatumbo, Colombia”, a region characterized by high levels of violence and very specific social situations; it also aims to determine the influence of training at the master's level of the Francisco de Paula Santander University on teachers working in the area of physics. The research, framed in the mixed paradigm, allows the realization of univariate and multivariate analysis of variables inherent to the process of training and professional action of master teachers, as well as the categorization of their experiences resulting from the application of knowledge obtained throughout their studies in their professional practice and training in different areas of knowledge, emphasizing the practices, laboratories and teaching strategies used in the training of students by physics teachers.

This research project seeks to analyze the relationship of ethical values with the process of teaching and learning mathematics and physics through a pedagogical strategy in students of the eleventh grade of the "Escuela Bicentenario, Universidad de Pamplona, Colombia", through the technique of the focus group. Thus, the research process allows us to recognize that ethical values such as responsibility, honesty, justice and solidarity are strengthened through the implementation of pedagogical strategies within the classroom and their impact on the formation of the life project, being the development of physical-mathematical thinking a fundamental axis for the strengthening of values.

Esta investigación se centra en la percepción de los estudiantes sobre la influencia de una plataforma digital en la interacción y aprendizaje social en un contexto educación híbrido en una universidad pública de Colombia. Se adopta un enfoque cuantitativo y descriptivo, mediate un estudio de campo con 131 estudiantes inscritos en una Facultad de Educación. Se utiliza un cuestionario basado en encuestas. Los resultados revelan que el 95.6% de los estudiantes accede a redes sociales, pero solo el 79.60% las emplea con fines académicos. Se evidencia que más del 50% aprecia el apoyo docente, aunque indicaron la necesidad de mejorar aspectos como la retroalimentación y el tiempo de respuesta. En cuanto a las metodologías didácticas, el 51.90% y 39.20% de los estudiantes consideran adecuados los enfoques basados en proyectos y en problemas, respectivamente. En conclusión, se destaca el papel transformador de la plataforma educativa en la experiencia educativa, promoviendo un aprendizaje colaborativo y social.

La investigación se realizó con estudiantes de física I y II de universidades del Departamento Norte de Santander-Colombia. Su objetivo fue establecer la relación entre la planificación de las clases de los profesores y las percepciones de los estudiantes en entornos sincrónicos. Cuatro instrumentos midieron la percepción de los estudiantes respecto a la práctica pedagógica de los profesores de física. La investigación siguió un enfoque cuantitativo correlacional. Resultados de la investigación muestran que la percepción de los estudiantes sobre la planeación de clase no guarda una asociación estrecha respecto a la consideración que tienen los profesores, encuentros vía streaming muestra asociación a percepción de enfoque, y resultados de aprendizaje. Se establece correlación alta entre la implementación de consideraciones contempladas en el enfoque dialógico-crítico y por competencias, por parte de un alto porcentaje de profesores. La contribución de las acciones realizadas por los docentes para potenciar el desarrollo del pensamiento variacional de los estudiantes a través del quehacer académico y pedagógico, tiene una relación alta entre lo que el profesor realiza y resultados de aprendizaje obtenidos por los estudiantes.

Nowadays, modern design and construction techniques make possible to study the structural beahviour of sections distinctively shaped. If typical sections are extended from circular to elliptical and from rectangular to parallelogram shaped, it is possible to compute mathematical and physical parameters needed for the structural analysis. This work presents a physical–mathematical model to determine the structural efficiency in terms of relative strength and stiffness of sections shaped as ellipses and parallelograms when used in reinforced concrete columns. To solve the model, a Matlab® code for drawing the column interaction diagram of each studied section was written. Each diagram describes, in terms of mechanical physics, the relation between the uniaxial bending and the compression load that defines safety conditions as a mathematical limiting curve. The governing equation has the form P(m, g)=f(M(m, g) in which P describes the axial load strength function, M the bending moment strength function, m the material properties, and g the geometrical characteristics function. Structural efficiency has been expressed as the relative behaviour of each section with respect to comparable rectangular sections. To obtain the results of the model, a Matlab® code was written.

El artículo tiene como objetivo analizar las prácticas pedagógicas implementadas por los profesores para fortalecer la construcción de paz, desarrolladas bajo un enfoque por competencias, resultado de una investigación fundamentada en el enfoque cuantitativo, diseño correlacional, apoyado en el enfoque cualitativo. La muestra la constituyeron 255 estudiantes y 38 docentes de los grados noveno, décimo y undécimo del Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, Cúcuta, Colombia. Los resultados indican que solo un 48% de los docentes implementan prácticas para fortalecer la paz en el marco de un enfoque por competencias; las variables grado y modalidad, se correlacionan con desarrollo de competencias emocionales y solución de conflictos; solución de problemas explica competencias en ciencias; filosofía institucional, se asocia al desarrollo de competencias en ciencias sociales y prácticas para la paz. Conclusión: prácticas pedagógicas para fortalecer la paz basadas en el enfoque por competencias, influyen en el desarrollo de competencias en solución de conflictos en los estudiantes

The pandemic marked society and, therefore, educational institutions, since preventive measures revealed large gaps and differences, and led to rethink the role of the school today, to rethink its constitution and redirect its actions towards a renewed entity, with new positions, new approaches and commitments, in order to respond to current needs and, even more so, to serve students with disabilities. This paper represents a research advance in which an analysis is made of the perspective, policies and strategies that the University of Guadalajara implements to guarantee inclusive education, and some of the effects generated in higher education students as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic; in particular, emphasis is placed on the effects that the situation has had on students with disabilities. For this research, some interviews were conducted with blind students from the same institution, in order to learn about their experiences during the health emergency.

Physical-mathematical thinking is the visible representation of the relationship between physics and mathematics. It is based on the development of the five types of mathematical thinking and leads to the consolidation of the learning of physics through the construction, interpretation, abstraction and consolidation of meanings for the teacher and the student about physical phenomena. The work allows for the implementation of a pedagogical strategy based on project-based pedagogy, which facilitates the development and application of mathematical algorithms for the analysis, understanding and explanation of physics by students in the context of collaborative field work. The study is framed in the quantitative paradigm, in a quasi-experimental design, working with control and experimental groups. Pre-test is applied to identify the development of physical-mathematical thinking in students and as a support to the design of the intervention proposal. Once the proposal is developed, the results are evaluated by means of a post-test that allows identifying significant improvements in the students' physical-mathematical thinking.

The research aims to implement real didactic situations for learning fractions and physics in students from educational institutions in "San José de Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, Colombia". From the theoretical point of view, it starts from one of the ideas that have been emerging in recent times regarding the teaching of physics, such as the development of physical-mathematical thinking by inserting the paradigm of didactic situations into the educational environment. The research is part of a field study, quasi-experimental with self-control. The treatment plan was organized in five didactic situations on theoretical and practical aspects of physics. The results of the pretest reflect deficiencies in the use of mathematical contents associated to the description of physical phenomena in the population under study, which allowed the design and implementation of a pedagogical intervention plan. The post-test showed an increase in the execution of mathematical models in the application to physical phenomena, which inferred the effectiveness of the intervention plan, whose activities allowed innovation in the classroom to achieve the students' attention. It is concluded that the didactic proposal was an enriching experience with the active participation of the students.

Resilience refers to the student's ability to overcome emotional periods caused by adverse situations. In this sense, research aims to evaluate the relationship between academic performance in mathematics and physics and school success in higher education students. The research is framed within a quantitative, descriptive-comparative and micro-sociological methodological approach developed with data from primary sources. Data collection was transectional and the sample was 1500 students. The Wagnild and Young resilience scale was used. The results show that there is an important relationship between the level of demand, the application of mathematics and physics, abstraction and academic performance. Students develop emotional resilience skills that allow them to improve their quality of life. In conclusion, resilience is significantly related to all strengths of character, as well as to positive acceptance of change and personal competence. It was identified that, while resilience helps students to be more tolerant and to better understand what is happening in their environment, it is precisely in these challenges that the strengths of high educational performance are manifested. Successful students demonstrate skills in formal thinking, creative thinking, applying mathematics, physics and resilience, all of which impact on their quality of life.

El objetivo de investigación fue evaluar la relación entre el rendimiento académico en matemáticas y el éxito escolar en estudiantes de educación superior. La investigación siguió un enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo-comparativo y microsociológico. Los datos provinieron de fuentes primarias. La recolección de datos fue transeccional y la muestra fue de 1500 estudiantes. Se utilizó la escala de resiliencia de Wagnild y Young. Los resultados muestran que hay una relación importante entre el nivel de exigencia, la aplicación de las matemáticas, la abstracción y el rendimiento académico. Los estudiantes desarrollan habilidades emocionales de resiliencia que les permiten mejorar su calidad de vida. En conclusión, la resiliencia se relaciona significativamente con todas las fortalezas del carácter, así como con la aceptación positiva del cambio y con la competencia personal. Se identificó que, si bien la resiliencia ayuda a los estudiantes a ser más tolerantes y a comprender mejor lo que sucede en el entorno, es precisamente en esos desafíos donde se manifiestan las fortalezas que les brindan un alto desempeño educativo. Los estudiantes exitosos demuestran habilidades de pensamiento formal, pensamiento creativo, aplicación de la matemática y resiliencia, las cuales inciden en su calidad de vida.

Las características de las mujeres con alto nivel de resiliencia fueron centradas en el saber vivir con categoría primaria calidad de vida, en el saber conocimiento, en saber hacer y adquirir mayor destreza en conocimientos y automotivarse para saber estar. Se concluye que la escala de resiliencia ajustada con los factores planificación y empatía presenta evidencias de validez con relación a su estructura interna y fiabilidad de 0.87.

Students who are excellent in their academic performance face challenges and difficulties associated with the social relationships they develop when living within the school environment. In similar studies, there are limitations such as the identification of the variables involved without reaching the level of correlation in the educational experience. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of high academic performance on the interpersonal relationships of young adolescents in the I.E. College of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The methodology used responds to the mixed approach, in the quantitative field follows a correlational method, from the qualitative field follows an ethnographic method, is designed for three phases and applies the instruments of the Davis empathy test (IRI), interview and non-participant observation. The results obtained show that there is a significant relationship between the academic success of the students and the quality of the relationships they have with their classmates, in general they tend to be less emotional and interested in cultivating significant bonds.

The purpose of the research is to strengthen the competence of mathematical interpretation through the portfolio as a learning tool in an educational institution of the "Municipio de Gramalote, Norte de Santander, Colombia". The research is carried out from the socio-critical approach, qualitative paradigm and the chosen method is action research. The information gathering process was developed using the techniques of: participant observation and focus group. The key informants were two high school mathematics teachers and eighth grade students. The results show that in the diagnosis the participants' lack of knowledge regarding the process of mathematical interpretation was evidenced; elements of knowledge are identified from the previous knowledge of the students and the preparation of the researcher teacher in the didactic sequence. The use of a tool such as the portfolio made it possible to motivate the learning process and to evidence in an orderly manner the abilities and capacities empowered by the students; there was an appropriation of learning around the analysis and interpretation of mathematics from concrete situations in the daily lives of the students, taking up their previous knowledge and using didactic elements and resources from their environment.

The wave movements can be studied from autonomous work done by the student since they are processes in which he can appreciate and understand how the transmission of energy from one part to another without transfer of matter is. Problem-based learning constitutes a good alternative to study the concept of waves since it sequentially leads the student to structure the knowledge to use it in the context, to develop effective processes of reasoning, to develop self-directed learning skills and to motivate him/her to learn, together with the development of the capacity to work in a team and it favors the development of the mathematical physical thought. The research is developed from the multi-method methodological approach developing in-depth interviews to teachers and knowledge tests to students with the purpose of establishing both pre-knowledge and initial situations for structuring the pedagogical intervention and the evaluation of its results. The pedagogical intervention is structured on a quasi-experimental design in which the strategy of problem-based learning is applied to the teaching and learning of physics and is compared with the traditional methodology. The research allows us to conclude that applying the problem-based learning methodology to physics teaching, we obtain better educational yields than with traditional teaching, while it generates a greater motivation and a greater interest in learning. It also allows the student to integrate the knowledge into his or her context, visualize the usefulness of learning and apply knowledge to the solution of problems in his or her environment, in other words, it allows the student to achieve significant learning and therefore a development of mathematical physical thinking.

Las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones en el fortalecimiento del pensamiento físico matemático

El objetivo de la investigación fue asociar el uso de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones, concernientes al ejercicio de la labor de un grupo de estudiantes pertenecientes a universidades públicas, ubicadas en el Departamento Norte de Santander con el desarrollo del pensamiento, y las condiciones psicosociales, económicas, sociodemográficas. En esta investigación con enfoque multimétodo, se aplican instrumentos para identificar herramientas tecnológicas implementadas por 101 profesores, determinar el desarrollo de pensamiento, conocer las condiciones sociodemográficos y psicosociales de 537 estudiantes de 3 universidades, y en consecuencia determinar un modelo que asocie y explique el nivel de desarrollo del pensamiento matemático de los estudiantes universitarios. Se realizan estadísticas descriptivas de las diferentes variables; y modelos Logit para identificar los factores que influyen utilizando tecnologías. Con un 95% de confiabilidad, los resultados indican que no existe vulnerabilidad psicosocial y los modelos indican que factores gestión educativa relacionada a planeación profesor, herramienta didáctica, resultado de aprendizaje, acceso a plataforma, competencia de innovación, disminuyen o mejoran, la probabilidad de potenciar el desarrollo del pensamiento físico matemático. Se concluye que regresión logística ordinal permite e identificar factores utilizando TIC para pronosticar incrementos en el nivel de desarrollo del pensamiento físico-matemático
