El estudio de los sistemas dinámicos es un tema de gran interés en las ciencias básicas, económicas, empresariales, entre otras, permite realizar inferencia directa del comportamiento de los diferentes sistemas. El objetivo del trabajo consiste en la aplicación de modelos estadísticos de series temporales a la estimación empírica de ecuaciones que conforman sistemas dinámicos con el propósito de describir las relaciones entre factores capaces de producir alteraciones en un sistema económico, físico, social o ambiental y plantear ecuaciones de evolución para ese sistema. La metodología se enmarca en el paradigma cuantitativo y utiliza un razonamiento deductivo que, a partir del análisis de datos univariados y multivariados, recolectados a intervalos regulares de tiempo, permite establecer un derrotero para ajustar modelos dinámicos confiables que expliquen el comportamiento de variables aleatorias a lo largo del tiempo. Las aplicaciones revisten importancia para las diferentes ciencias puesto que permiten identificar y estimar modelos que describan sistemas dinámicos en variables estocásticas relacionadas.

The use of physics in structural engineering requires the combination of its logical strength with social sensitivity. Logical strength is provided by mathematics and physics with practical solutions and new thinking relationships. Social sensitivity is achieved by inserting this "hard" knowledge into the solution of community problems. It is desirable that the teaching of physics and its applications prioritize holistic knowledge over mechanicity and that this process be similar to the one followed by the artist when he conceives his work: he dreams it, tries it, feels it, and adjusts and delivers it after having understood it with his whole being. In terms of curriculum, it is advisable to rethink the contents, encourage the use of majeutics, reduce standardization, personalize evaluation, and abolish the belief that there can be useless knowledge.

Renewable sources used to produce energy has gained momentum due to its environmental benefits and economic feasibility. Colombia has been part of the global tendency to develop non-conventional renewable technologies such as wind and solar and integrate those technologies into the energy matrix of the country. However, the lack of understanding of the wind and solar resources in some areas of the country including the department of Norte de Santander, Colombia, has limited the deployment of these technologies and the development of new projects. This research proposes an approach to assess wind and solar resources in the department of Norte de Santander, Colombia. Also, this paper discusses the physics behind the generation of energy from wind and solar sources and the contributions required from different backgrounds to help in the wide deployment of solar and wind energy. In this first stage, a rough technical concept is developed, and the proposed sites are selected based on publicly available maps of low resolution presenting average irradiance and wind speed, and proximity to electricity transmission infrastructure. The areas selected have a global horizontal irradiance ranging from 4.0 kWh/m2 to 5.0 kWh/m2 and wind speeds between 4.0 m/s and 6.0 m/s at 10.0 m height on average in a year.

Existen oportunidades educativas que se pueden brindar con herramientas adecuadas a los estudiantes con discapacidad, en este caso discapacidad visual total y parcial, con interés en seguir estudios de educación superior. El estudio se centra en el uso de herramientas y procesos adecuados para el desarrollo del pensamiento matemático a través de actividades didácticas y estrategias propias según su aprendizaje. El ideal es la construcción de metas académicas para el desarrollo del pensamiento matemático en estudiantes con discapacidad visual que promuevan el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas para el ejercicio de una profesión, a través de actividades prácticas con herramientas tecnológicas de acuerdo a la necesidad. De la misma forma se busca, caracterizar la población de estudiantes con discapacidad visual en las instituciones de educación secundaria en su relación con el entorno educativo y familiar. Finalmente, proponer acciones educativas que involucren las metas establecidas para el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas en pro al desarrollo del pensamiento matemático. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se utiliza un método descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo en un estudio de casos. El Proceso que se utiliza para fortalecer la investigación en el campo didáctico se desarrolla a partir de los cuatro pasos de la heurística de resolución de problemas de Polya. La aplicación de este método se realiza a través de actividades orientadas y prácticas usando el sistema Braille, permitiendo de esta forma el acceso a la información a través del tacto y el desarrollo de otros sentidos. Los resultados muestran el inicio a una educación en inclusión, con acciones académicas propias de la condición de discapacidad visual y con motivación para permitir de esta forma el desarrollo del pensamiento matemático. A la luz de estos resultados se encuentra que los estudiantes con discapacidad visual pueden responder favorablemente a acciones académicas y se verá reflejado en la propuesta educativa.

Interview and virtual survey instruments had a kappa index equal to 0.8 and α = 0.78. The results identify three categories associated with the application of science, the function of the history of Physics and scientific production. It is concluded that participant's concept storytelling is the art of telling a story in motion and a didactic resource associated with approaches, the development of skills, useful to analyse the development of discoveries in Physics, its actors, its application in scientific advances and its contribution to innovation and community development. Classical mechanics, electricity and magnetism with storytelling, identifies in physical science axiological aspects associated with tradition; epistemological aspects associated with experimental physics; and critical aspects.

This research project describes the results of applying two pedagogical methodologies: problem-based learning and the use of new information technologies through GeoGebra in the development of the theme of functions for students of public accounting. The research was developed from a positivist paradigm, quantitative approach of quasi-experimental type of pretest and posttest with control and experimental group. In order to determine the development of competencies, a diagnostic test was initially applied to evaluate the mathematical knowledge with which the students enter; then pretest and posttest tests were applied to the control and experimental groups, in which by means of an intervention plan to the experimental group in the posttest stage, favorable results were evidenced by improving the proportion of correct answers and the development of competencies in geometric algebraic reasoning compared to the pretest stage. One of the conclusions reached in the research is that applying other methodologies in class such as problem-based learning with the support of GeoGebra software encourages the process of teaching learning and students find applicability to the topics treated by associating them with situations of practical life.

The development of numerical thinking in primary education is an important aspect of children’s mathematical training, since it allows for a general understanding of numbers and operations in order to facilitate the development of their handling and application. The work allows the implementation of a pedagogical strategy based on didactic engineering, which allows students to identify and formulate questions related to the management and understanding of numbers and their basic operations together with the decision to approach individually and which ones in a group way while planning and making decisions in their development and evaluation of results. The study is framed in the quantitative paradigm, in a quasi-experimental design, working with control and experimental groups. Pre-test is applied to identify the development of numerical thinking in students and as a support to the design of the intervention proposal. Once the proposal is developed, it is evaluated by means of a post-test that allows identifying significant improvements in the numerical thinking of the children of the experimental group in comparison with those of the control group. This leads to the conclusion that the developed intervention contributes favorably to the development of numerical thinking in children

The main objective of this research is to adjust a model, using the methodology framed in the sequential update procedure of the forecast, to a time series of coal production observed quarterly during the years 2007 to 2011, in order to disaggregate quarterly the annual production for the years 2012 to 2018. Once the process has been carried out and validated, a quarterly production model is estimated which allows valid and reliable forecasts to be made for each quarter in subsequent years.

Mathematics, in populations with Special Educational Needs, must be worked from the context of the students and with problems that they can show leading them to apply the concepts and solutions to everyday life. In this context, the present study is based on the objective of implementing pedagogical strategies based on the use of the Educaplay interactive platform for the learning of mathematics in populations with special educational needs in the "Carmen Teresiano" school in the city of San José de Cúcuta, Colombia. From the theoretical point of view, it is based on humanist theory and the cognitive paradigm; on the other hand, it is based on the manual of the teacher of children with special educational needs of the "Ministerio de Educación", Chile. Methodologically, it is a quasi-experimental study of pre- and post-test with only one group. The results of the pretest reflect deficiencies in the use of basic mathematical contents in the target population, which allowed for the design and implementation of an intervention plan and then to reapply, under the same conditions, the post-test. This resulted in an increase in the execution of the questions posed, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the intervention plan.

The present research project seeks to identify an application of didactic engineering in the teaching and learning processes of mathematics and physics through a pedagogical strategy in a group of 24 ninth grade students from a public educational institution located in the municipality of Tibú, Norte de Santander, Colombia, in order to determine the degree of appropriation of the concepts associated with mathematical physical thinking. Three didactic sequences were designed and applied, based on the theories of didactic situations and semiotic representations, to later determine their effect on the learning process, which showed better results in the communication competence, but the reasoning and problem-solving competences still show difficulties in the students. Therefore, it is concluded that the work in the classroom should be strengthened with the implementation of didactic sequences with clear objectives and that enhance these two processes of mathematics and physics.

El cambiante escenario pedagógico y didáctico del aula de clase genera una permanente inquietud en todos los ámbitos educativos, en donde la enseñanza de las ciencias ha sido un área de creciente interés. Investigaciones recientes priorizan la búsqueda de estrategias que cierren la brecha existente entre la enseñanza el aprendizaje, la cual se profundiza en una diversa comunidad estudiantil que acompaña sus procesos con el desconocimiento pedagógico de la planta docente, cuyas alternativas didácticas para lograr una formación competente están sustentadas en un pensamiento transmisionista – conductista. Este artículo presenta una alternativa pedagógica de aprendizaje basada en la teoría experiencial de Kolb, tomando como caso de estudio el concepto de onda armónica en la propagación de ondas electromagnéticas. La metodología comprende la formulación de la hipótesis de trabajo desde la teoría del aprendizaje experimental, la definición del contexto sustentado en el enfoque cuantitativo y basado en los estilos de aprendizaje de Kolb, la generación de la estrategia pedagógica siguiendo el modelo CUVIMA, la aplicación de esta en un solo grupo con pretest y postest para conocer las ideas previas y el cambio conceptual y, el análisis de resultados utilizando estadísticos gráficos y la media. Como resultado se identificó que los estudiantes tienen un estilo de aprendizaje Convergente – Asimilador según los estilos de aprendizaje de Kolb, lo cual implica que tienen preferencias hacia las prácticas de laboratorio y de simulación en donde pueden poner a prueba los conceptos teóricos aprendidos. De acuerdo con el análisis de los datos se concluye que la experimentación mejora la comprensión del fenómeno físico estudiado, lo cual está acorde con el estilo de aprendizaje identificado en los estudiantes.

Investigaciones recientes priorizan la búsqueda de estrategias que cierren la brecha existente entre la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, la cual se profundiza en una diversa comunidad estudiantil que acompaña sus procesos con el desconocimiento pedagógico de la planta docente, cuyas alternativas didácticas para lograr una formación competente están sustentadas en un pensamiento transmisionista – conductista. Este artículo presenta una alternativa pedagógica de aprendizaje basada en la teoría experiencial de Kolb, aplicada al concepto de onda armónica en la propagación de ondas electromagnéticas. La metodología comprende la formulación de la hipótesis de trabajo desde la teoría del aprendizaje experimental, la definición del contexto sustentado en el enfoque cuantitativo y basado en los estilos de aprendizaje de Kolb, la generación de la estrategia pedagógica siguiendo el modelo CUVIMA, la aplicación de esta en un solo grupo con pretest y postest para conocer las ideas previas y el cambio conceptual y, el análisis de resultados utilizando estadísticos gráficos y la media. Como resultado se identificó que los estudiantes tienen un estilo de aprendizaje Convergente – Asimilador según los estilos de aprendizaje de Kolb, lo cual implica que tienen preferencias hacia las prácticas de laboratorio y de simulación en donde pueden poner a prueba los conceptos teóricos aprendidos. De acuerdo con el análisis de los datos se concluye que la experimentación mejora la comprensión del fenómeno físico estudiado, lo cual está acorde con el estilo de aprendizaje identificado en los estudiante

El aprendizaje de la física supone arduos esfuerzos cuyos resultados con frecuencia se muestran en paradójica desproporción lo cual conlleva a generar estrategia para valorar el nivel de estrés entre los estudiantes puesto que esto a su vez, permite establecer acciones pedagógicas y didácticas para la enseñanza de la física y para potenciar el pensamiento físico Objetivo: establecer la validez y fiabilidad de una escala para evaluar el estrés en estudiantes de cursos de física de instituciones educativas de educación superior del municipio de Cúcuta en tiempos de covid-19. Materiales y Métodos: Estudio descriptivo de corte transversal, diseño instrumental; evidencia de validez de constructo se evaluó a través de análisis factorial confirmatorio, correlación y comparación; la consistencia interna se estimó mediante el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach. La muestra estuvo constituida por 1200 participantes seleccionados de la población de estudiantes de instituciones educativas públicas y privadas del municipio de Cúcuta, Colombia, de diferentes programas académicos que tienen matriculado cursos de física. Resultados: se conforma una escala con 20 ítems y 3 factores: ansiedad, presión institucional, afrontamiento y se evalúa su fiabilidad y validez para el diagnóstico de estrés en estudiantes de cursos de física. Conclusión: la escala para evaluar el estrés en estudiantes es válida y fiable.
