Evaluación del efecto que tiene el pre-tratamiento con ultrasonido en la extracción de aceite de seje (oenocarpus bataua).

Esta investigación evaluó el efecto que tiene el pretratamiento con ultrasonido en la extracción de aceite de seje (Oenocarpus bataua); el fruto fue sometido previamente a un proceso de secado y una reducción de tamaño de partícula a 710 µm para ser tratada con ultrasonido a 40 KHz manejando las variables temperatura (20, 40 y 60° C) y tiempo de exposición al US (20 y 30 min), dando origen a seis tratamientos y un tratamiento control; posteriormente se realizó la extracción del aceite en el equipo sólido-líquido utilizando nhexano; se realizó la separación de solvente y aceite, para realizar los respectivos análisis; evaluando su incidencia en el rendimiento, calidad, propiedades fisicoquímicas y el perfil lipídico mediante análisis de varianza (ANOVA) aplicado suma de cuadrados ajustado para prueba, para observar diferencias significativas (p ≤ 0,005) entre los tratamientos tratados con US y el control, donde se demostró que el tratamiento T1 sometido a una temperatura de 20° C a un tiempo de exposición de 30 minutos en el ultrasonido obtuvo mayor rendimiento 25,074% con respecto a los demás tratamientos y el control bajo los parámetros de calidad y físico-químicos establecidos por la normatividad.
