El uso de dispositivos móviles y el aprovechamiento de la tecnología GPS, permiten la implementación de sistemas para analizar el contexto y actividades típicas de transporte de un usuario, a través del análisis de los datos de localización y sensores de aceleración. Este trabajo de investigación comprende el procesamiento de datos obtenidos vía GPS. Con este procesamiento se pretende detectar el modo de transporte de un usuario en segmentos de recorridos predefinidos. Para la clasificación de éstos, se usan perfiles de velocidad que identifican los modos de transporte en cada uno de los segmentos, mediante un sistema software en lenguaje de programación Java y la utilización de Matlab para el análisis y filtros de datos. El sistema software se desarrolla en dos componentes, el primero comprende el filtro y transformación de datos. Estos datos se representan en coordenadas decimales a coordenadas cartesianas. El segundo presenta la clasificación, para la detección de modos de transportes con las coordenadas cartesianas. También contiene el análisis de estados de movimientos cinemáticos. Las pruebas se realizan a través de un dataset tomado del proyecto GeoLife de Microsoft Asia. Los resultados obtenidos muestran una detección coherente sobre los medios de transporte que usan los diferentes usuarios. Estos usuarios se comparan a partir de perfiles de velocidad predefinidos.

El desarrollo de software es considerado una actividad compleja debido a que intervienen un conjunto de personas especializadas en lenguajes y herramientas de programación que realizan tareas bien definidas dentro de la implementación del software. En este contexto de trabajo, se hace necesario que el estudiante en su inicio de formación como desarrollador de software, tome habilidades en buenas prácticas de desarrollo, una de los cuales comprende la utilización de sistemas de controles de versiones que permiten el registro y control de cambios de proyectos de software en repositorios específicos de código de programación donde interactúan varios usuarios. El propósito de este trabajo es presentar una estrategia de aprendizaje denominada GIT-SEED basada en casos donde el estudiante trabaje de forma colaborativa con el uso de un sistema de control de versiones bajo la plataforma GitLab, desde esta perspectiva se ofrece un mecanismo de apoyo para las habilidades de trabajo en equipo, análisis y pruebas de código de programación, despliegue de aplicaciones en entornos reales de trabajo y manejo de procesos de desarrollo de software ágiles. Los escenarios de prueba de la estrategia fueron aplicados a los estudiantes de estructura de datos y programación web del Programa de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander, los resultados demuestran la gran afinidad y apropiación que tienen los estudiantes en el uso de estas herramientas y la facilidad de integración de sus aplicaciones con los componentes creados en su equipo de trabajo. Web service composition requires high levels of integration and reliability of the services involved in its operation, which must meet specific quality criteria to ensure their proper execution and deployment. The discovery and selection of web services currently face optimization problems. Many services might satisfy a requirement with similar quality criteria. Because of this, software developers have to choose the most appropriate services for a given composition, complicated by the rapid increase in providers and services available in the cloud. Service composition also implies coupling according to a composition flow and non-functional requirement criteria. Such requirements make selection and composition a complex task not previously solved in the literature. This paper presents Ar_WSDS, a computational approach for web services discovery and selection in cloud environments, which bases its implementation on the brain’s pattern recognition systematic functioning. This process allows classifying web services through recognition modules created dynamically based on their quality parameters, resulting in a set of web services suitable for a web service composition. This approach allows a solution to the selection problem using less complex tasks. This paper introduces an architectural and procedural definition that provides the web service description with a pattern to recognize and select services using different recognition levels. We simulated our approach and evaluated it using a dataset from the QWS project that offers a set of quality criteria collected from different providers. The web services are recognized and classified using different quality criteria for the composition and each of their services. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the discovery and selection process compared to other approaches. Furthermore, Ar_WSDS allows us to recognize and filter out web services with ambiguity and similarity in their provider information, a process that minimizes the discovery space for services.

This work proposes the adaptation of a pattern recognition model based on the systematic functioning of the brain called Ar2p for the selection of web services in composition activities in Cloud environments. The web serice are represented as patterns to be recognized by Ar2p, which determines the necessary and sufficient web services that constitute the composition of services that meet its functional and non-functional requirements. The services composition and activity selection have been formalized through a logical-mathematical model of web service recognition mechanisms in two steps, one that describes the syntactic search of the service and the second, which offers filtering through quality of service parameters. An adaptive implementation of the final model allows its recognition modules to be provided with any desired optimization strategy.

The educational component is based on an active case-solving methodology accompanied by a pedagogical strategy. This strategy allows for the development of a multilayer-model-programming work for the construction of basic and advanced applications in real domains and for integration of its use, development and operation assessment with data structures. The evaluation results of SEED as a pedagogical mediator in the issue of binary trees is presented. The evaluation indicates that students prefer to use SEED due to its simplicity and attractive GUIs which facilitate data structures learning.

In the perspective of math and physical-computational, software testing is conceived as a modeling of scenarios based on the different levels of abstraction that software is developed. These specifications allow marshaled representation of each software component as well as its intra - extra process interactions. This work analyzes in a systems approach under the perspective of computational physics how to identify, interpret, represent, and formally model functional software tests and how, through critical path representations, white box testing is developed. A test scenario is established for components built in the software called "Ferticacao," where white box testing is applied. Results show that the use of modeling techniques based on critical paths show the interaction of the code and its interoperability at the level of data structures and component calls that allow to quickly analyze the functionality of the software at the source code developing level.

Concerning computational physics, web services are conceived as mathematical units that are experienced in different systems that offer service composition. Due to the exponential growth of web services and their deployment on cloud platforms, quality of service parameters have now become an essential factor when searching for and selecting services that must satisfy specific non-functional requirements of a user application. A variety of service components are highly configurable and are dynamic scenarios because a significant number of services can meet these requirements. This work analyzes the systemic perspective of approaches for the selecting and searching of web services that have specifications of optimization strategies based on the configurable quality of service parameters with test scenarios in cloud environments that have a considerable number of services as input. The study shows that policies based on artificial intelligence and related areas are the ones with the most significant convergence, and the approaches analyzed to give a perspective of future work aimed at strategies based on automatic learning.
