El presente artículo muestra los resultados de una amplia investigación que pretendió identificar la población entre 5 y 24 años de edad que se encuentra fuera de las instituciones educativas y determinar las razones por las cuales esta población no accede o no hace uso de la oferta educativa institucional. El horizonte metodológico se enmarcó dentro del paradigma cuantitativo-correlacional, aplicando una encuesta a 978 niños y jóvenes de catorce barrios del Municipio de Ocaña, Norte de Santander. Los resultados del estudio muestran que los factores asociados más significativos al abandono escolar se relacionan con las condiciones socioeconómicas de las familias, el desplazamiento forzado y otros que se vinculan con hechos de violencia.

Este artículo aborda el conflicto armado colombiano y las consecuencias que se han derivado del mismo, con respecto a la mujer. Para este propósito, se realiza una descripción histórica-documental sobre la evolución del conflicto y un análisis de cómo éste ha producido efectos diferenciales en la mujer. Situación que se puede evidenciar por medio de estadísticas, informes, relatos, notas periodísticas, y en testimonios identificados en sentencias claves de la Corte Constitucional. Uno de los principales hallazgos muestra cómo el conflicto armado interno afecta a la mujer de una manera diferencial, a través de mecanismos o instrumentos de guerra que responden a características patriarcales propias de la sociedad colombiana. Esto trae como consecuencia el desarrollo de una serie de hechos victimizantes, tales como el abuso sexual, la esclavitud sexual, la muerte, la tortura, los embarazos y abortos forzosos, el desplazamiento, la violencia física y psicológica, entre otros. Estos hechos han sido utilizados como método de guerra por parte de los grupos armados al margen de la Ley y por ciertos sectores de la fuerza pública, de manera premeditada y sistemática.

Esta investigación1 estudia el barrio Buena Vista II de Villa del Rosario- Norte de Santander, caracterizado por su población desplazada víctima del conflicto armado interno colombiano. En ella se desarrolla un enfoque documental que contextualiza las consecuencias del conflicto y define conceptualmente calidad de vida. Su marco metodologico tiene un enfoque mixto; cualitativo, que reconoce las dinámicas y condiciones de habitabilidad de la población objeto de estudio y; cuantitativa, que realiza una caracterización poblacional desde las dimensiones social, económica y ambiental que permite identificar las necesidades de calidad de vida de los habitantes. Esta investigación permite establecer la incidencia de la arquitectura en la calidad de vida de las poblaciones víctimas del conflicto armado colombiano, como elemento que condiciona procesos de reparación y rehabilitación en el contexto del posconflicto.

It is a study framed in the empirical-analytical paradigm and the quantitative approach. The research has an explanatory level and non-experimental design. A questionnaire was used as a tool that was applied to 200 companies, from the main cities of Colombia, belonging to the commercial, services, manufacturing and financial sectors. The main findings show that entrepreneurs are willing to participate in post-conflict from different mechanisms, although there is a lack of knowledge of most of these. Likewise, employers’ concerns about the scope of their participation in the post-conflict are evident, which allows concluding the need for the State to establish clearly and precisely the linkage of the private sector in the process, and the ways of articulating the institutional activity with the possible support of companies.
