The purpose of this research was to propose theoretical elements for the description of the students' attitudes in the teaching of differential calculus and its applications to physics from the onto-semiotic approach in the affective and interactional suitability. The design of this research with a complementary approach of qualitative and quantitative methods, with predominance of the first one, under the interpretative paradigm. The field modality and a quasi-experimental design to evaluate the applicability of the concepts of differential calculus. The collection techniques were: first, the semi-structured interview, in order to guarantee the depth and density of the information so that it converges in an emerging system of meanings and categories; second, the application of a questionnaire to evaluate the cognitive capacity of students under the onto-semiotic and traditional approach; third, observation through surveys. The findings lead to an instructional process through which mathematical concepts are taught efficiently, the student's role is valued as being assertive, autonomous, and responsible, while the teacher contributes to the development of emotional support by increasing the student's motivation, self-confidence, and interest in learning mathematics.

The investigation was oriented quantitative focus with an analysis technique of multiple results factorial, identified profiles of students with character of leaders; the sample incorporated 150 students of educational institutions in Norte de Santander-Colombia. The results allow us to observe four factors associated with communicative skills: pragmatic, with the practice skills for the readings production; factor normative, belongs to etic based parameters, factor diplomatic negotiator, skill to intercede in conflicts and factor communicative in assign tasks to groups and planning. Apply the methodology denominated creative and United Nations model, developed and enhance political communications skills, democratic, of planning communicative and ethical.

This article discloses some considerations and reflections in the teaching of random thinking and data systems based on a documentary review. A documentary sample was used consisting of 40 documentary sources (articles, postgraduate dissertations and books), published in indexed journals, about random thinking. The research was based on a qualitative content analysis method which used the coding and categories saturation process. The results let us establish conceptual relationships considering three dimensions linked to the random thinking teaching, they are: epistemological corpus, theoretical corpus and the social function. The results allow to base new proposals of curricular, didactic and evaluative type for the teaching of this thinking, at the same time, it allows to carry out processes of self-assessment of the teaching practice and of the need that currently exists before the research in the classroom and the contextualization of mathematical knowledge.

This research reveals the perspectives in the teaching of numerical thinking through a documentary review. The representation of physical elements such as functions, vectors and operators, and their subsequent interpretation through numerical thinking gives meaning to the physical quantities that such elements represent. A documentary sample integrated for 40 sources on numerical thinking such as articles published in indexed journals, postgraduate dissertations, and books is considered. A qualitative content analysis method is used. First, an encoding procedure is applied for tagging the extracted information from the source documents. Then, a split and merge procedure is considered in order to establish from the tags the dimensions and categories that allow determining the conceptual relationships that support the developmental perspectives of numerical thinking. The method reveals that the numerical thinking can be developed in the global context from four perspectives, namely, historical, theoretical, curricular, and social perspectives. From these results, an incorporation of the such perspectives can be institutionalized for promoting curricular, didactic and evaluative new proposals for numerical thinking teaching.

El presente artículo tiene el objetivo de analizar la influencia del uso de tecnologías digitales, particularmente, de software de geometría dinámica, acompañado de una didáctica en la concepción y solución de problemas aplicados, en un enfoque de enseñanza activa, en temas de optimización. La metodología siguió un enfoque cualitativo, se desarrolló a partir de taller con profesores, en el cual se resolvieron problemas en el contexto de máximos y mínimos de forma analítica y dinámica mediante el software geogebra. Resultados señalan la necesidad de implementar secuencias didácticas que guíen al a la concepción de optimización, la herramienta motiva la fase de enseñanza al permitir la simulación, modifica heurísticas y formas de solucionar un problema. Conclusión: la tecnología digital es factor motivante en la enseñanza, permite la visualización de representaciones de objetos matemáticos de manera dinámica, ayuda a la conceptualización si y solo si se apoya de secuencias didácticas.

The objective of the article is to evaluate emotional intelligence in the initial teacher training of the mathematics bachelor program at the "Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander", San José de Cúcuta, Colombia. The methodology is framed in the qualitative approach with some complementary aspects of the quantitative approach, the applied technique is the interview and the trait meta-mood scale instrument. The results describe that the impacts of integrating the emotive dimension in the learning strategies of mathematics is a greater resilience in the teachers in formation, since thanks to the contact with their emotions through introspection and reflection they manage to draw plans and alternatives that help them to devote more time, ask more and study better, especially in those aspects that cause them difficulty.

Es relevante en el proceso de adaptación escolar colombiano con los estudiantes migrantes de la zona de frontera del corregimiento de la parada, identificar los factores que influyen en su inteligencia emocional. La investigación considero resaltar los factores que influyen en la inteligencia emocional como atención o percepción, comprensión y regulación del ser humano. Por consiguiente, se aplicó el cuestionario como herramienta de estudio la escala TMMS-24, de Salovey y Mayer1 , con un diseño descriptivo cuantitativo, muestra migrantes. Por lo tanto, la educación colombiana tiene el compromiso de orientar a los educandos. Resultados: un 60% de los estudiantes migrantes tienen la percepción o atención y un 40% siente ansiedad e inseguridad al vivir en otro país. Se evidenció que en el factor de claridad emocional un 80% de los estudiantes comprende sus sentimientos y razona emocionalmente. Los resultados demuestran que un 50% tiene dificultades en regular o reparar los estados emocionales correctamente, En conclusión, los factores que presentan dificultad son los de atención o percepción, así como el factor reparación o regulación de las emociones, dado que representan otra cultura y normatividad en ámbito social – educativo Colombiano.

En Colombia, y especialmente en la región Norte Santandereana, se presenta un impacto en los factores psicosociales en la zona de frontera, debido a la migración de venezolanos, como consecuencia al éxodo en el país desde el año 2017 y es notorio el impacto de la llegada de venezolanos y colombianos, que habían vivido por décadas en Venezuela, siendo un fenómeno social, psicológico, económico y educativo. En el estudio el objetivo principal fue identificar las características de los factores psicosociales que influyen en los migrantes a través de la dinámica de movilidad y el impacto en la problemática de frontera en la Parada (N.S). El enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, muestreo no probabilístico e intencional con 100 migrantes y la aplicación de un cuestionario de factores psicosociales asociados al bienestar de migrantes de Javier Murillo y Fernando Molero. El análisis de resultado mostrò que el factor de prejuicio percibido por parte del migrante es poco agradable y se encuentran estigmatizados en la zona de frontera por diversas cuestiones económicas y sociales, siendo asistencialistas para poder sobrevivir en la crisis; seguidamente, el segundo factor la discriminación es percibida como delincuentes; en el tercer factor, la identidad de nacionalidad, se reconocen como venezolanos y se le dificulta la economía colombiana. En el cuarto factor, la satisfacción con la vida muestra poca a un nuevo proyecto de vida; el quinto factor autoestima se encuentran con sentimientos de tristeza, por estar lejos de su familia y por último bienestar material percibido en los migrantes una muestra pequeña reconoce el apoyo de Colombia. Conclusiones: los migrantes se enfrentan a diversas problemáticas sociales como la aculturación, integración, discriminación y aceptación es importante el apoyo psicosocial a los migrantes a travès de un grupo interdisciplinario para fortalecer el proyecto de vida.

The objective of this research was to determine the incidence between learning styles and multiple intelligences in students in the first semester of their degree in Mathematics at the Francisco de Paula Santander University in the second semester of 2019. The study is an exploratory, descriptive correlational design, with a sample of 33 students; Horney Alonso's learning styles and multiple intelligences questionnaires were used. It was determined that 45.5% of students have a high preference for reflective learning styles and 33.33% for mathematical logical intelligence. When the chi-square test was carried out, it showed a significance of 0.223, that is, the variables have a low level of association. On the other hand, this is confirmed by Spearman's correlation test with a significance level of 0.242, which concludes that the variables of this research are not very associated.

El objetivo de este estudio fue describir el desarrollo de los procesos de práctica pedagógica durante la emergencia de la pandemia, e identificar experiencias educativas y aportar elementos de autoevaluación para el desarrollo de las mismas. Se enmarca en las características del enfoque cuantitativo a nivel descriptivo y de corte transversal. Para la recolección de los datos se diseñó un cuestionario ad hoc compuesto por 28 ítems con opciones de respuesta cerrada, en los que se pretendía determinar el impacto del proceso adelantado durante los dos semestres del 2020 en la línea de asignaturas de Práctica Pedagógica, en un programa de Licenciatura en Matemáticas. El cierre de las instituciones educativas en todos los niveles educativos, por la pandemia del Covid-19, obligó a crear nuevas formas de interacción entre docentes, estudiantes y comunidad educativa en general, lo que condicionó el desarrollo de las prácticas pedagógicas de forma presencial, pero posibilitó otras formas para continuar con el desarrollo de estos cursos, con el diseño e implementación de estrategias para el acompañamiento de los docentes en formación apoyado especialmente en la mediación de TIC mediante la educación remota.

In this article, we present some research results whose objective was to analyze the growth of Duranta plants, under the influence of sprinkling foliage and CO3Cu concentrations. The methodology followed a quantitative approach, field-type experimental design, data are taken during 30 days of cultivation, length of root, dry weight, and stem diameter and height are measured. The results show an increase of dry weight, harmonic growth of the root related to the height of the plant. It is concluded that a solution of 140 g of CO3Cu liter of latex-1 generates increase in dry weight of Duranta.

The article shares some elements of comprehensive type about "mathematical argumentation in the classroom"; whose analysis, was made from two fundamental categories in the development of an oral mathematical argumentation process for the conviction, contradiction and validation of a written mathematical argumentation process. The research addressed two central categories of argumentation as a discursive form, the first one is the epistemic position, and the second one is the discursive position that students unveil at the time of mathematically arguing the solution to a problem situation. The research was developed under the interpretative paradigm through the design of a case study directed by the theory and technique of a focal group, for the collection of information. In the findings, difficulties in the passage were evidenced from the semantic to the theoretical from the epistemic position; regarding the discursive position, the presence of three discursive forms was revealed: description, explanation and argumentation, the latter being the least used by the students.

The purpose of this research was to establish a relationship between mobile devices and the development of critical thinking in students of the differential equations subject. The research had a quantitative and qualitative methodological approach with quasi-experimental design, the sample was 110 students. Results: The integration of mobile applications favored and motivated the learning of the applications of differential equations, where the student develops critical thinking at the moment that creates, discovers, imagines and assumes. At the same time, when interacting with colleagues, it implements autonomous and collaborative learning, with the ease of access to information. Conclusion: Regarding the perception of students about this tool, 40% highlight its usefulness in understanding the topics and 51.2% step by step methodology. The average age of the students was 20 years with a standard deviation of 2.01 years.

La investigación con un enfoque cualitativo analiza desde la perspectiva de género el impacto alcanzado por la unidad de servicios académicos intensivos en los resultados de aprendizaje vinculados con las áreas del conocimiento de matemáticas y física aplicadas de las instituciones de educación básica y de educación secundaria profesional oficial de la ciudad de Cúcuta que hacen parte del proyecto clínica matemática. Se toman como fuentes de información los registros procedentes de la observación, la información recopilada por medio de entrevistas a los docentes responsables del acompañamiento pedagógico, así como las impresiones recabadas en los grupos focales desarrollados con los estudiantes que asisten a las asesorías, del mismo modo también se estudian los hallazgos bajo el criterio de los autores e investigadores citados en el desarrollo del presente artículo para de esa forma robustecer y contextualizar sus aportes. En el análisis de resultados emergen diferencias en torno a la participación y motivación, las cuales se evidencian en las percepciones y atribuciones, puesto que mientras para las estudiantes mayor esfuerzo le representa menor asistencia a la unidad, para los estudiantes su limitada disposición ante la dedicación que requiere la formación científica les implica un tiempo superior de asistencia a la unidad.

The research had as objective to identify the social skills of first semester students of the mathematics program of Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander, Colombia, assigned in the subject of physics I, with a sample of 21 participants between 17 and 21 years old of the stratum 1 and 2, from which only 4.8% of the students work and study, the remaining 95.2% only study. 57% of the participants are women and 47% men, it is also evident that they currently reside in San José de Cúcuta, Colombia, the research under the positivist paradigm with a quantitative approach of quasi-experimental design of descriptive type, were applied: the questionnaire of the scale of social skills, and test of attitudes in physics which is constructed by 50 items that classify the social skills in 6 groups and 20 items in the test of physical attitude with a reliability in the alpha index of 0. 79 The statistical software SPSS version 23 was used for data analysis and the Google form tool for data collection.

The objective of this research was to create a structural model able to explain the profile of student leaders during their youth stage, by implementing the pedagogical model form national university organization, in order to develop skills from a cognitive approach using an event-based learning trend. The research had a quantitative methodological approach, addressing differences in the students' cognitive abilities for oral expression and textual production, along with a correlational method of factorial design analysis, as a field type. The beneficiary population was made up of students from private educational institutions with an average age of 17 years. According to the model, it was found that among the factors associated with leadership are, the ability to lobby, strategies, critical reading, intensity of the debate, discourse analysis, quality of presentation, decision making, characteristics that determine the profile of a ruler.

TIC en la enseñanza de las ecuaciones diferenciales de primer orden

Esta investigación se ha propuesto evaluar las relaciones entre los elementos que intervienen en el proceso de aprendizaje de ecuaciones diferenciales de primer orden, antes y después de la incorporación de herramientas tecnológicas de apoyo. Se sigue un diseño de estudio descriptivo donde se determina la importancia de la tecnología en el aula de clase y cómo esta puede llegar a generar un cambio de actitud en los estudiantes. La muestra estuvo conformada por 40 estudiantes en edades entre 18 y 23 años. El instrumento de recolección de información consistió en una escala de actitudes que se aplicó al inicio y final del experimento. Los resultados muestran que el uso de las TIC como instrumento mediador, produce un cambio de actitudes positivas y favorables hacia las aplicaciones de las ecuaciones diferenciales de primer orden, apoyando la adquisición de conocimientos, logrando estimular la creatividad de los estudiantes y contribuyendo en el diseño de nuevas estrategias metodológicas en el ámbito de la Educación Superior.
